Healthy Holidays Program
Healthy Holidays Program
Join our Healthy Holidays program offering workshops, games, and meals during school breaks in Barnsley.
During school holidays, our Healthy Holidays program provides a range of engaging activities for children across Barnsley. From workshops to games, arts and crafts, and more, there's something for everyone to enjoy. You can find upcoming dates and details on our events page.
This service is primarily for children aged 4 to 16 who receive free school meals. However, we also offer a limited number of places for children not on free school meals at a cost of £1 per child per session. Each session includes a nutritious meal for all attending children (and sometimes adults too!).
For children aged 4 to 11, a parent or carer must be present and supervise them throughout the session, unless they are 8 years old or older. Sessions for 8 to 16-year-olds do not require adult supervision, provided the young person has parental consent.
The Healthy Holidays Program is generously funded and supported by the Department of Education, FairShare Yorkshire, Meals and More, BMBC Central Area Team, and BMBC HAF Team.
We're excited to welcome you to our next session! For more information or to get involved, visit our website or contact us directly.
